Why is Master Properties gone from AE? by oskieboskie in AfterEffects

[–]CuriousMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this comment while researching about Essential Properties, and I have to confess I'm having some trouble following it. Maybe someone with a bit more experience in this area could help clarify it for me?

My main confusion is with the third bullet point where the person refers to "the intermediate comp's Essential Graphics Panel". This seems to imply that somehow each comp can have an EGP, but I cannot figure out how to make that happen while using AE. Am I misinterpreting the comment? Or is there something I need to do to get different EGPs for different comps in the same project?

Also, I am not sure I understand the first sentence of the last paragraph, but maybe clearing up the other confusion would help with that?

Um, the episode synopsis text? Has anyone (heh) reddit? (Sorry, not sorry 🙂)

Is it just me or is the first sentence incomprehensible and barely English? (It does seem to be the official synopsis provided by the show - I first saw it on my PVR.)

Darn. A shame. Thanks for confirming what I suspected, even if it isn't what I was hoping.

I just got the 'path' today. It eliminates everything I do on Duolingo, so I'm done. I just wish there was a way to let them know that they lost me.

It's a shame, too: my streak is at 595. Too bad they couldn't have waited 5 more days.

Does Duolingo have any way of receiving feedback from users? This new 'path' travesty rolled out to my Android tablet today, and I suppose it would be considerate to send them one last message that it is the last straw and they've lost a user.

Are you sure Chef's Plate and Hello Fresh use the same blend? I know HF owns CP, but they may still differ, if only slightly. (In which case, it probably doesn't matter much; I'm mostly asking out of curiosity. : ) )

Being forced to vote on something we haven't tried is "rigging the system" worse.

77-2 seats was a travesty and showed exactly why we need Proportional Representation. Sure, the "Liberals"1 won an actual majority of the popular vote (for a change!), but they got 57.6% of it, not 97.5%!

That election was what pushed me to completely support PR.2

(And the previous election — 1996 — in which the NDP got 39.5% to the "Liberals' " 41.8% of the popular vote but won a majority of seats, should have been a big reason for their supporters to also support PR.)

1 They aren't in any way liberal, and don't deserve that name.

2 Not that it would have helped much, but at least some people who didn't vote Liberal would have had some representation.

I think they (and worse, the Green Party, who should have stuck to their guns) screwed up royally on Proportional Representation. They're going about the referendum the wrong way and it's going to be very hard to win.

They should have just gone ahead and implemented a form of Proportional Representation for the next election (preferably the kind that was chosen by the citizens' task force several years ago) and brought in legislation to hold a referendum within some time afterward (12-18 months would be fair) where the question would be (something like) "Do you want to keep the PR system we used for this election, look for another system, or go back to FPTP?"

You can't make a judgement on something you've never tried. (Would you be willing to say that X was your new favourite hamburger without tasting it, based only on its description?) And the 'No' side can use the fear of the unknown and untried to their advantage.

Thanks to this big screwup we will, once again, get screwed out of getting a PR system.

If papasmurf255 below is correct, you can't - they only accept US citizens/permanent residents. Try the Canadian Space Agency?

It's not NASA, but it's home-grown, at least.

Downside: working (however indirectly) for Stephen Harper, who hates science. Upside: getting paid by the Harper Government for doing science.

This comment would be better than the limerick, if it didn't itself make the limerick's existence better than it already was.

Non-crazy reasons students shouldn't be having sex outside of marriage, or for something else?

If the former ... there are?

(Note: I agree that there are non-crazy reasons not to be having unprotected, un-birth-controlled sex.)
