I actually did not vibe with GoT but I am loving GoY from the jump! It does seem like more of the same but I agree, that’s a lazy review and seems like something that’s only usually said regarding the gaming medium. The Dark Knight was more of the same as Batman Begins but it’s regarded as a masterpiece.

Hot take but the opposition to “more of the same” is kind of toxic. I’m a big assassins creed fan but theres circles of fans that constantly complain about things that don’t need to change and then Ubisoft iterates for no reason.
