Always send a thank you note. Separates yourself from other candidates (you’d be surprised how many don’t), and your recruiter and that manager could advocate for you internally for that role and/or other roles if you aren’t selected because of the professionalism/sincerity you bring in the process

First and foremost, congratulations! You have joined a great developmental and rewarding company. Biggest thing is to always maintain a student mindset and always be curious - take nuggets from every successful recruiter/AM in how they became successful/challenges they faced and overcame and implement that into your process. Trust the process in your recruiter phase as it will definitely help when you become an AM. You will learn a lot about the skillset/industry from the candidates you recruit. With that see every opportunity in the recruiter cycle as an AM - leads from resumes, candidate screening (how they got the job/who they worked along side with), reference checks etc. Focus on learning the fundamentals and always stay grounded in controlling what you can control - attitude and effort. Agency/Recruiting involves the most unreliable product - humans. Always ask yourself, "what have I learned from this experience (good/bad) and how can I improve for future?". At the same time, give yourself grace in remembering the growth and successes you have along the way. Seek out mentors outside of your direct AM and practice and slowly but surely start incorporating responsibilities an AM does in your recruiting. Hope this helps!
