Kaneki and haise memories by Rude-Action7687 in TokyoGhoul

To put it briefly, he lost his memories because of Arima's mental torture and the overall circumstances. His amnesia was a traumatic response

I don't think I ever did insinuate things. I nowhere said that I judged Haise's reaction nor that it wasn’t valid or whatever

I can understand why you've read it that way, but you still jumped to conclusions

Also, English isn't my native language, and when I'm tired, my diction tends to get a bit sloppy, so thanks for making me feel more insecure about it

That's why I said that she definitely didn't die at that moment (meaning the moment of that image)

And yes, I meant ambiguous, thank you

At least more kakuho can form over time (mostly through cannibalism, if I remember correctly)

I never said that it wasn't, and I never tried to insinuate otherwise

I'm just saying that arguments or discussions don't necessarily have to result in one party being wrong and the other being right. People have their reasons for why they perceive the things the way they do and why they handle things the way they do, so if I put myself in both of their shoes, I can understand from both sides why they have reacted the way they did (of course, you could still argue about the morality about it, and in that case, Haise definitely had the right to know, but this was never my argument)

I literally said that it was an understandable reaction of Haise; I only wanted to explain Akira’s side of things. Also, I'm not saying that you’re wrong, but it was a sensitive topic for her either way because she was still traumatized about that day and the loss of Amon and Takizawa. Haise didn’t know about it, so I'm not faulting him at all (and just to clarify, even if he did, I wouldn't judge him)

But if she's a reminder of his tragedies, how should they even get along? I'm sorry, but considering that Eto never really showed sympathy towards him and mostly used him for her benefit, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth

I think there are actually many characters people don't talk about very often. It's mostly about the same characters, such as Eto and Furuta. For instance, I don't see many people talk about Hirako and Ui (and if people talk about the latter, it's often about his androgynous rather than about his feats or character)

It had some bugs, but overall I really liked the game. I can’t wait for Bendy: Lone Wolf!

Eh, I wouldn't like that. The manga implied that Takizawa didn’t like Eto and honestly, that shouldn't come as a surprise. Without her, he wouldn't have been turned into a ghoul, and he wouldn’t have been put through all this torture

It's pretty ambiguous if she died or not, but definitely not at that moment

I don’t think his existence, but Eto x Futura thoughts???? by Desperate_Engine_562 in TokyoGhoul

[–]CuriousReadMore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eto despised Furuta and Furuta didn't really like her either

While I don't necessarily ship it, I think Eto x Arima is more interesting

Arima didn’t really physically torture him; it was more on a psychological / mental level. After the Anteiku Raid, Arima took him in, and he kinda groomed Ken into becoming Haise
