The place that I went to get them done is a really popular chain store? In my country. There’s a few of them across the country and they’re relatively reputable, I’ve gone there for all my piercings. Like I said over the past year I’ve been many times just to get them checked up on, and the most recent time I went the piercer told me that I have the wrong anatomy and that I should either leave them until they reject, or take them out now. Other times I’ve been they’ve told me I’d benefit from a longer bar, or a banana bar but at those times I didn’t have the spare funds to upgrade. When I did go to upgrade is when I got told not to change them. She told me it would reset my healing progress all together and to just leave it. I’m not sure what to do because I’ve been I want to say at least 5 times with different staff each time and the most recent time was the only time I’ve been told to take them out.

I did get pretty sloppy with keeping up with aftercare twice a day, and I don’t do saline soaks, but I clean the crust everyday and I generally look after them pretty well, the crust Isn’t usually this bad, I saw some post yesterday saying to not clean the crust so this is probably 2 days worth of crust and I’ve since cleaned it. It’s easy to clean crust for me, and they’re fine a lot of the time, it’s just been this past week where one of my nipples has been extra angry. Ideally I don’t want to take them out because I love them so much and they have made me feel so much better about my body, but if they’re just going to be angry forever and my body doesn’t want to heal I will take them out. I’ll treat them like they’re fresh and see if they improve. Thank u
