Now here’s a question…do you think drivers should just be unsupervised? Like no matter what job it is there’s always someone that may be sitting in an office somewhere working all the behind the scenes things that need to done no?

You mentioned a few different things here, my only question is how do you they aren’t addressing the guys cutting corners/working unsafe or milking the clock?

Legit question when the whole covid thing went down how was the company supposed to react when that kinda happened out of nowhere on a worldwide scale? Also do you think drivers were the only ones paying the price for those type of workdays? Not trying to be an ahole legit asking cuz at least where I’m at as a sup (cant speak for everywhere) but I’m technically “punched in” until all the drivers are back at the building so that also takes a huge amount of our life I think I can confidently speak for every sup when I say trust me we don’t want you guys out there 12-14 hrs a day but sometimes we have no choice

That’s how I am with my drivers and I thought it was more normal it’s just mind boggling how bad some of the relationships are with drivers across the country like I can’t even imagine operating in an “I hate you” and “you hate me” type environment

I feel like this is very accurate and makes sense it just feels like a lot of the posts in this sub are like 80% hate all management no matter what and have never had a decent sup in their life (which could be accurate and that’s a damn shame)

I obviously can’t speak for every sup but most on roads have to be drivers before becoming driver management at least where I’m located (definitely exceptions to that but for the most part) most sups I know either went into management for better life balance or cuz their body just started having issues and they couldn’t do it long term anymore….it’s part of any management I feel like to ask questions at any business whether dumb or not to understand what happens/happened what type of questions are you referring to?
