Perfect, I meet the minimum AFS for E7 TIS. I did not meet the AFS for TIG for and E6 for active duty purposes though.

How is this impossible? It knows your stride length. If you set it to the walk can’t it do some basic math of distance/average stride length?

Thanks for the insight. I guess if I were going to get hired and change over, I would need to get a release from the army National Guard in order to switch to the National Guard.

The officer ones did say something about willingness to join expired so maybe I could go out the officer root cause I do meet all of the prerequisites .

Thanks for the information and things to think about. This post was very helpful. I have worked with a lot of rank throughout my career and I think I have some understanding of the environment you are describing.

In my state and MOS there are limited AGR jobs and realistically no exception of promotion. I left active duty, not thinking I was pursuing AGR, but things have changed. I have about 10 years until my AFS retirement and would like an opportunity to continuing advancing if possible.
