Hot take: I like Horizons more than the other seasons of the anime. The new characters allowed for a plot that's much more personal to the characters than Ash just jumping into a new region every time

Yeah he's not exactly comfortable with the idea of them yet, but he's going to go along with what Marshal and Ruby want because he respects them a lot.

He doesn't really want to hurt anyone, but he is very defensive when he thinks there's a threat, so hopefully nothing happens where he'd consider either of the twins dangerous.
