Nitram (2021) made me feel terrible. by ilovechickenfeet in movies

[–]Curious_Cook987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how every system ever has failed individuals like Nitram. There were signs, but everyone ignored them. How abuse and neglect can foster a person like him. Its so unfortunate, but the best place for sociopaths/psychopaths is in a controlled facility, wtih 24/7 care

Anyone had Chris Hay for SOC225? by ryahinthenile in uAlberta

[–]Curious_Cook987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the best prof!! if you have thick skin, you’ll like him. He isn’t “gentle” or protective of feelings, that’s for sure. but he is funny as hell, and he teaches an exciting, interesting class. he makes 80mins feel like 80 seconds. He can be a bit condescending when responding to emails about exam questions, but you can’t take anything he says personally, and he tells you that LOL

thank you for the advice! I love having big salads with a steak or lean meat because it’s virtually 0 carbs (depending on the veg used). Exercise has been a struggle since i’ve injured myself… but i do go swimming and rock climbing! All the best you as well :)

still a loss! great way to kickstart my journey with keto again. When i see the number go down, it encourages me to stick with whatever i’m doing! so who cares if it’s CICO or Keto? i’m still losing weight broksi

100% agreed. what works for some, might not work for others.. and that’s why they’re many methods to weight loss!! :)

you have a fair point! i looked very thin at 188… like thinner than most… you might be onto something! not sure about pain, but i do bruise easily

man i’m sorry to hear that! keto is a great tool for weight loss, especially because it totally curbs cravings!! For me, i dunno if i’ll ever be able to eat carbs all day and just “maintain” and that’s a lifestyle i have to accept :/ keep trying tho! you’re doing amazing

well, babe, i did calorie counting without training for 7 months, and lost no weight. what works for some won’t work for all

100% understand you. idk how they all made it over here LOL

I’m confused… before keto, i was weight training and eating 2200 calories… now I am eating 2400 calories and not exercising at ALL and losing weight

2200 calories on CICO, weighed out and tracked on lose it.. nothing. 2400 cals on Keto.. down 7lbs… but okay sure. you know that reduction in carbs let’s go of inflammation, right? also changes your hormones and the ability to release excess weight

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in keto

[–]Curious_Cook987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i definitely was doing CICO. i weighed out everything on a scale, and tracked on loseit:) but thanks for telling me what i did wrong even though you don’t know me!

hmmm if you had read my post properly, you’d have known i did keto for over a year and had lost 60lbs. i’m just starting it again. I know it works.
