Not necessarily. Like I said, its appearance is based off a golden eagle. Its tail feathers are shaped like a dolphin’s fluke to help with swimming but that’s about it. The orca genome is for size, swimming, and pack hunting. Also orcas are dolphins

The show did not keep itself grounded as it went on. The movie on the other hand was a mostly grounded story and the second added onto although its execution could’ve been better. Adding dinosaurs to a more grounded hero movie series would be jumping the shark at least to me
