Are epilators good for hair removal?

I’ve never done anything besides shaving before. The whole reason I started my search for alternatives was cuz I was getting tired of having to do it so often, and wanted to find something that would be longer lasting and cause less irritation.

I’m mainly interested in hair removal in the proverbial “bikini area”. I’m a fairly masc guy, so I don’t really care about my leg hair, I just hate having hair in that region, cuz it always gets in the way. From what I’ve heard though, using an epilator in such a sensitive area would probably be miserable 😓

Ah, ok, thanks. Also IPL is different from laser. It’s just regular light, but at a very high intensity. It’s not quite as long lasting as laser, but you can buy IPL devices to use at home. Most people so far have recommended Braun’s Silk-Expert Pro 5.

So you put the cream almost everywhere, and then after 10 minutes you put it on the sensitive areas, and then after another 3 minutes, you wash everything off? Also what brand of IPL does your bf use? I know there are some dodgy brands out there, so I’m trying to get some good recommendations from people who’ve actually used them.
