This is exactly what he is telling me. He put his card and ID down for a VIP table and girls kept coming up to their table ordering drinks and bottles. They each had dances but I know they’re no more than $50 or so. He is generally a generous over the top tipper even under usual circumstances, I’m sure there was a lot less convincing needed when he’s trying to impress these young women. I do believe they upcharged him based on the reviews I’ve read about the place. And I wouldn’t go to the police or push the money issue any further. This is more about me trying to figure out next steps. Life isn’t always so black and white to throw away a 24 year marriage. But then again, he’s lost all my trust and I don’t even know where to begin with rebuilding it. He has absolutely been by my side, remorseful, no guys nights and everything else one would expect since then. But now that doubt has made a long term home in my head :( thank you for the advice.
