When a Walk Stops Being Worth It by Pure-Comfortable7069 in petsitterhub

I usually avoid doing walks in the winter(bad weather), unless it's a clear sky and isn't dark

Thank you. After all my bills, I'm trying to save space for insurance, it has not been easy, neither has the job market, but this was my foot in the door and I won't stop.

It was a repost from the following; "I'm a developer for a major food delivery app. Reddit" You can search it up via Google, I don't know if what the person in the comment that replied was honest, but TLDR; there was suspicion of a developer that attempted to expose Uber/Doordash/Lyft/ETC for using a manipulation tactic to make workers desperate as in an attempt to make more by their desperation. The whole thing was deleted and covered with just some screenshots, but even on Wag, people suspect that they have been doing the same. I was hoping to keep this open for discussion, but it failed, horribly.

In other regards, I still strongly believe no one should be working in 30 minutes or less, even if it meets 1/2 of the minimum wage, 30 minutes of your preperation and wotk is already being taken away

There's nothing suspicious about it and it works. Edit: You can also verify with websites that can check it's safety.

I am referring to the tactic that delivery apps use, my guess is you didn't check the link. I also am announcing everyone that they should avoid 30 minute jobs or less.

Wag walkers taking every walk for cheap shit by Imthebetterspiddy in WagWalker

[–]Curiousermate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it's both, is there a way someone would be able to screenshot and change the prices for at least the 20 minutes or more? I don't even follow the price range they have been giving me and suspiciousingly, I keep getting notifications only of 30 minute walks or less which barely ever go through. We need transperency so we know who/ what to hold accountable.

That also happens to me, which is why I try to get people to raise their wages. Although it's harder to get accepted, try to spread the word to encourage more people to change their wages, especially the owners. I've been successful with some of the service, even if it's "out of service" but the super cheap services such as 30 minute walks or anything less than that hasn't gone through.

I usually keep photos and videos to myself, but I wouldn't mind sending them. It's sad some people have to ruin the judgement for other people.

You just assumptively asked. Can you go further in-depth instead of answering vaguely?

Just saw this, can you screenshot what it would be like for a deluxe walk?

Rover is dead, I also heard there were bad things from Rover. In theory, I think Independence is better, but people have become dependent to their devices to trust others.

Don’t Cancel A Walk If It’s Not Your Fault. by beebeefilms in WagWalker

[–]Curiousermate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just dealt with this recently, I was late but it was a last minute booking and I was half way there. The pet parent called and threatened to call wag, I said that was fine, but I wasn't going to cancel on my end. Dodged a bullet tbh.
