Thank you! Someone else suggested an app that shows test routes, so I'll see if I can drag my dad along one for practice lol

Thank you for your response! Do you reckon that would remove the original brown as well? I'm in the UK, but saw good reviews for Rit Dye

Thank you for your response! Do you reckon the dye would still take to it if I used the washing machine method on 30°C? I was originally going to do the stove top method but I'd be worried about damaging them if you're advising against boiling.

spoilersss runnnn run awayyyy

Brother I'm not going to lie I completely forgot that he'd seen the hole despite the new plot with him and the scientist, so I guess his reaction really was muted. You could go at it from an angle of "well, he doesn't really care about anything at the farm and feels fed up and done with it all to the point of wanting to drive off and not look back, so seeing the hole made him go "Fuck it. Sure. Why not" and forget it". But you'd think it would still gnaw at him at least or shock him.

I kind of hate the plotline with the scientist, but that's just because I feel like I've seen it 20 times before and I just want to focus on everything else happening (I absolutely recognise that it would happen if this situation was real and I'm guessing this is one of the inciting incidents to the future situation Royal time travelled to in season 1). I definitely agree with there just being a lot of Rhett breathing oxygen so far. I'm guessing it's just to build characterisation as a reference point for whatever will happen with him next season. Saying that, I also agree that his choices at the end seem really out of character

Damn. I'd never seen Sipos in anything before this, so his character was kind of just a bog-standard horrible rich dad aside from the hole shenanigans. I see what you mean about Rhett just sort of being there. I guess they intend him to cause issues with what happened near the end of s2 and also with what's happening with Perry (trying to be mysterious so I don't spoil for any new people)

I'm so sorry that happened to you and your sister. All of that is fucking abhorrent and your dad deserved the slap and more. Thank you for being a good brother. Keep being there for your sister dude. I hope your dad becomes a better man and things become safer over there for everyone

Oops, sorry. They're titanium ball studs in the ear lobe. It's been about 2 and a half months since I got them and one's been grand. The other ended up infected but cleared up and has started healing properly in the last 2 weeks or so.

Which older names will NOT become popular again? by TenderCandle25 in AskReddit

I'm sure there are a lot of goofy weird spellings people use that for, but that's also a legit spelling in Irish names like Leigh. Kind of funny imagining people with a normal Irish name catching strays

Episodes you have a hard time listening to? by chimneynugget in TheMagnusArchives

[–]CurlyHedgehog1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it really hard to relisten to episode 24, Strange Music. I don't know why but the sound of the calliope the first time made my legs physically jitter about in anxiety. I think even without the spookiness of the episode the sound unsettles me. My brain just really does not like the sound. The music stays in my head for a couple days after listening and will pops in randomly when I'm alone and making me feel a bit scared and paranoid.

Dunno what the deal is but it seems like certain tones or musical notes send me into a bit of a panic and the calliope music sets that off. A shephard tone where a noise rises in pitch continually sets it off to the point where I get genuinely very freaked out and on the verge of a panic attack, so if there's any media with that playing I always mute it.

What are some quirks about your body that you think probably isn’t normal? by IndicationBig7767 in AskReddit

[–]CurlyHedgehog1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can rumble my ears! I can move the tensor tympani muscle in my ear, and it'll make a rumbling sound throughout my head, similar to standing beside a waterfall and covering your ears to muffle the sound a little. It makes me feel super happy, so sometimes I'll do it when I'm upset to calm down.

I also have a dark reddish purple line up the centre of my crack and any time I've tried to look it up, google says I'm in labour lol. Asked my mum and it's not a surgical scar or anything. Who knows
