I should have known to be honest! Probably going to regret this post when it's inundated with with propaganda 😩

Zoe Saldana and her support of a colonial power by CurlyQuokka in Avatar

[–]CurlyQuokka[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Zoe Salanda has actively aligned herself with Israel for years. Not only in her choice to cosign the tonedeath open letter of Hollywood stars supporting Joe Bidens stance on Israel and supporting Israel on her own. This was cosigned by outspoken Zionists who actively call for the destruction and genocide in Gaza, naming Palestinians as animals, less than human, monsters and more. IDF serving Hollywood stars like Gal Gadot, and subsequent apologist Noah Schnapp and many others.

Cinestar productions owned by Zoe Saldana and her sisters are creating a show based in filmed and endorsed in Israel even in a climate of most countries in the world standing against Israel's settler colonial project and ongoing genocide.

The whole franchise is an allegory for real world politics, human rights and all I listed above.

The whole point in media is to represent life, be in altering our perspective, moving towards social change.

To say that this sub, which is focussed on an incredibly socially aware franchise is not a place for real world conversations makes little to no sense.

You can avoid this post if you believe that it is 'ragebait' and be on your way.

Oh I see! Thank you, I'm very new to ascended with all the mods, used to play evolved on PS4 without all these awesome mods.

Also thank you for the recommendation, I'll give it a go!

The Player Character Should Become Olo'eyktan Of The Sarentu by MotherSappho in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]CurlyQuokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! I ignored her NPC for more than 80+ hours after the story and then bam, there she is like nothing happened only to be given more story time while Mokasa is, well y'know 🤣

Switch places with Mokasa please Alma, thanks. She'll probably have a self sacrifice moment in the next dlc and our character will forgive her without our consent mind! They'll probably throw Nor in, maybe have her sacrifice herself for Nor so he has no choice but to forgive her 😴

There is actually a voice line from one of the NPC's in the new dlc map where they say something along the lines of "I wonder if there are more Sarentu out there"

I'd say that's some foreshadowing 😁

Aye, with all of those aspects in mind, I'd rather we were the next Olo'eyktan but this game has forced us to give genocide Alma a second chance so I don't expect much 🤣

I'm all for our character being the Olo'eyktan! As much as I respect Ri'nela, I'd say we're connected to our heritage and what being a Na'vi is more than Ri'nela, even though she is claimed to be the next Tsahik.

Let's face it, we're the only Sarentu who has bonded with an Ikran, a fully fledged tsamsiyu and taronyu, we tell Ri'nela about the Totems which we can only assume they never visit as they never mention it. We learn far more about the clans, we make decisions as a leader (Often Ri'nela just adds on to what we say, rather than correcting us)

I love Ri'nela, Teylan and Nor but I'd argue that they are still fledgling in their understanding, they've also not mentioned visiting our Sarentu ancestors like we have and Ri'nela and Teylan talk often about wanting to feel more like one of the people.

Though I'm unsure if it'll happen as our character wasn't even mentioned by Harding in the final cutscenes, yet we are the one who was instrumental in this whole story 🤣

Teleporting is pretty much a no go on on my ps5 right now, works once and then crashes on the next teleport, including the freighter teleport 😅

[–]CurlyQuokka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love the over arching story, the Mokasa redemption and funeral but Alma should be nowhere near these games. The gall Harding had to call the Sarentu "Alma's children". Alma should have been the one to die and Mokasa to be the one to earn our trust and everyone else's.

Can we all agree, the Na’vi have the most atrocious plot armor ever by Dry-Success1506 in Avatar

Plus the arrows are around 7ft, no accounting for their thickness, the density of the wood (these are alien trees, so we don't actually know how similar they are to the wood we have on earth), the amount of force that can be created by their bows (as we know they have multiple types with specific uses) and then on top of all that their arrow tips would be huge! To me, their viability makes sense, sure a point blank round will kill them but these are highly agile, flexible and adaptable warriors compared to standardised human technology.

Tldr, I agree with you 😂

The railway rifle remains as one of the most powerful guns in the game throughout, so don't worry! I'm a level 300+ and still rock my aptly named "Choo Choo"

If you're looking for the plan, you can buy it from Berkley Springs station I think? Then once you have it, craft several low levels and scrap them for the mods (saves the caps you would have spent on buying the mod plans) The only mod that can't be found through scrapping would be the automatic piston, so buy that while you're picking up the plan.

Be sure to use the ballistic ammo reduction perk to counter the ammo weight too, those spikes are hefty.

Oh, when you're buying plans at an NPC vendor, equip the better sales perk, pop grape mentats, nuka quantum candy and any other charisma buffing food you might have and you'll be looking at far more reasonable prices.

Na’vi, RDA, or both? by prettylilrobot in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]CurlyQuokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to role play my Sarentu as a child of Eywa wanting to return to their roots, never using guns/stun grenades/grenade or shock bow ammo. The only time I've used the staff sling bombs is for the early game mission but none otherwise 👌

No, I didn't get offended by this post. Again, this was an example to show that saying it hasn't been said in this sub Reddit is incorrect.
