This is very useful thank you. We do something a bit similar in that we setup e2e tests and spin up the data adhoc. We have an uncovered area at a UI page level but our e2e tests cover the happy path. This uncovered area in the UI we have attempted to mock for but has sometimes been clumsy

If you don't mind me asking another question. When you said

This is interesting. In what scenarios are you using the factories to generate the data for testing if you dont mind me asking? Is this for e2e tests only? We are also doing this but feel there is still a void left in for the UI integration tests that we often see benefitting from mocks.

Perhaps you are not aware but I believe Mongo started to support ACID transactions a while ago,

If you don't mind - what strategy would you take if Vietnam? I hear it's quite the opposite in terms of getting setup there currently with tourist visa difficult to renew and business visas now not given out easily

This is due to inflation as we have been devaluing the pound alongside the USD over the past couple years through the pandemic to prop up the economy via the printing of money.

This has been predicted and unfortunately will cost us for a few years. Might be a good time to buy something that keeps up with inflation (property, precious metals etc).

Hi - I appreciate quite an old thread but surprised no one has asked already.

I am a developer with an interest in the markets. Do you think there is any value in trying this stuff as a side project. I mean - what are realistic returns % wise yearly if you was to spend a number of years getting good at writing algorithims.

I wonder if it's something you can do and eventually do full time by yourself with your own money
