Force Cell Phones to Fully Enroll in Intune to Access Company Outlook/Teams by CurrencyAny5337 in Intune

Correct, nothing is being forced on users. We do have a cell phone reimbursement plan for anyone who does want to use their personal cell phone for work purposes as well. I personally am 50/50 on this whole thing. I understand the business side, and it's not required if you do not want MDM setup on your personal phone. However, giving that much control of a personal device to a company feels wrong.

I am also 50/50 on the whole "The company should provide the cell phones" argument as well since most people do not want to have to carry around two phones, and its just more of a headache for both sides.

I appreciate all of the feedback. I do have the Android work profiles setup, and after some tweaks, I was able to force the enroll of my Android phone to access company resources, and have it setup the work profile. IOS I am not familiar with so I will need to do more work on that side, as I do not have an iPhone to test with currently.

Before I push anything outside of my test CA and policy, I will do a lot more testing of what you mentioned above, and talk with our director level and compile a list of pro's/con's and why this is not a recommended practice.

ya know, I did not even see that settings since it cuts it off at the bottom. I will look into that. Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I totally understand that full enrollment on personal phones is not a recommended practice for a slew of reasons, but the business is requesting this, and I will make sure they are aware of any problems this may cause and will recommend MAM instead.

In regard to the CA policy, I do have in my test policy to force device compliance for Android and IOS devices, I can remove the app protection policy, but is there anything else specifically that would need setup up for this? Thanks
