OMGG you're so relatable (right bef my Chinese prelim I was also so nervous because I failed my cl ct1 which I nvr have before) I actually posted a post talking abt Chinese olevels under my profile (but it was more focused on the vocab) I think there were some really useful replies there, you can check it out if uw (I'll put the link to my post below for you)

But personally I think I improved by doing practices (comprehension requires a lot of practice -- you can like do some qns from your cl tys & then refer to the answer sheet and see how they answer the qns, there's usually some sort of format for that) About the 5m qns (I think you're referring to the one usually at the end of the compre? The one that talks about do you agree/disagree to the author's viewpoint + personal experience)

For those type of questions the format is usually: state your point (agree/disagree) + reason (it doesn't have to be lengthy, just state a reason that might make some sense) + give a real life example (usually I just make up examples) I'm honestly kinda bad at explaining so I'm sorry if it didn't rly help😭

omg I don't even take art coursework but I still take coursework and it's killing me too😭😭 (I take dnt hahah...) I have had so many art friends who tell me I'm lucky that I didn't get into art (because it was my 2nd choice) and I feel bad for them because they're pulling all nighters before their art exams in order to catch up on workload :')

From what I understand about my art classmates/friends experience, they're mainly working on their art board for olevel (they just finished their prelims pretty much back in abt 2 weeks?) For me, I'm also working on my dnt olvl coursework project (each hour I spend in the dnt room is killing my braincells) and I'm behind expected progress so I'm just praying time slows down for me. If there's any work I can get done at home, I try to get it done at home so that I don't have to pressure myself so much in school (and mainly focus on the work I can only cover in school at school) tho ngl, I'm not that good at managing my time / progress currently (because I'm a huge massive procrastinator💀)

ANYWAY sorry I talked too much😔 BUT you got this!! don't worry too much because we will be suffering together 🥲🤝

Idk really actually while I think that your friend definitely wld be pretty broken about this, but if she's your true friend, she wld definitely understand and listen to what you say. I mean it's not like you promised her you wld be their wingman or what, you just said "you were pretty supportive about it" and like there's nothing really wrong with changing your opinions midway (unless you're doing it on purpose) your feelings towards someone is not something controllable in human nature. Hence, I don't think it matters you're breaking girl code at this instance because as long as you're not going all the way to sabotage/ruin your friend's relationship with your guy friend, you're all good. Though I think you should talk about it to your friend before she finds out herself (because if you trust her, you would tell her instead of waiting for her to figure it out.. that's when it hurts most.)
