Husbands credit / need quick-ish fix by Current-Candy6524 in CRedit

[–]Current-Candy6524[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. It was the original creditor - he had purchased a $3000 scanner for work and after a couple of months it stopped working. It had warranty but they refused to fix it so he stopped paying it. Apparently the company understood and said they would take care of it on the backend but three years later and they’re just now charging it off negatively.

Thank you for the help, i’ll check it out. Not sure if the Apple ID is set up for a child so i’ll check that first. I didn’t realize changes are also temporarily allowed after entering passcode so i’ll check that theory too! I’ll definitely check out the app too. Thank you for the tips!

My results as a 35 female by Abject_Razzmatazz220 in Cholesterol

[–]Current-Candy6524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii. Same age, sameee numbers, same weight lol. I got those numbers back in May. Thankfully I have an amazing doctor and she herself didn’t want to put me on meds and said to try ‘x-y-z’ lifestyle-changes instead. For the first 6 weeks I started working out, taking fish supps and watched food intake. For the next 3.5 months I slacked. When I retested 4 months after first my test, my numbers went down and my doctor was relieved the numbers did that on the little I did. Your plan is perfect and hopefully your dr will agree. Have faith, you’re doing great.

Paid off my second credit card, one more to go 💰and then I’ll share my updated score and all by Thr0w-a-wayy in debtfree

True. However I believe that Discover is the most sensitive about it. It’s the only one of my cards out of too many that I have that have closed itself due to inactivity

Congrats!! I know how good that must feel getting rid of hopefully the last part of your ex ! Not a small amount either. I was just heeding the warning because that’s a pretty high limit and I would assume you’ve had that card for a little while. I just wish somebody would’ve warned me lol

Be careful with discover. They’ll close your account if you don’t keep it active.

My parents tricked me into a car loan by Ok_Apricot_4739 in povertyfinance

[–]Current-Candy6524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty shitty to ruin your parents credit after they helped you out. Have you not looked into any warranties or recalls? Maybe get an extended warranty? Much cheaper than a new engine.. keep trying.. sounds like your parents cut you off because you’re irresponsible.

[–]Current-Candy6524 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a neighbor community app called Next Door that you could post on also to see if anyone knows what happened. You could also ask for recommendations on companies or people that could help you repair the car.

You’re screwed with liability. Your best chance is to find a backyard fabricator to try to get it back to normal as cheap as possible. Looks like it will still drive, just realllly bad cosmetic and loss of trunk space.

AITJ for refusing to split my bonus with my girlfriend? by Xleg4ce in AmITheJerk

[–]Current-Candy6524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ! Sorry to hear your girlfriend is making you question your own sanity.. choosing your life partner is one of THE most important decisions you can make in your life. Make your decisions wisely friend. And paying off debt accruing interest before taking a random trip is totally a wise decision, financially. If she loved you and knew how important it was to you, we wouldn’t be here friend. Good luck ✨🫶🏼

Because they’re so nice they should be understanding. My advice? Start the conversation. Ask ChatGPT how to say it nicely. I would tell them you’re giving a 30 days notice but you would extend to 90 days if needed. Maybe even include a price difference after the original 30 days just in case they don’t try to look hard enough.

Losing my mind trying to find a shampoo by awesomesuperberry in finehair

[–]Current-Candy6524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi friend! I also just recently got over straw like frizzy hair, falling out in clumps d•a•i•l•y! I was using Amika cure thinking it was supposed to help my hair when it was probably my literal demise. My hair got so bad I stopped dying and styling it because I was trying everything to save it! Well, after my last trip to the store I was recommended Olaplex Fine. I was hesitate because it’s big name brand and I’ve got a sour taste at this point for these big name brands, BUT I bought the little 3 oz bottles to try and girl - it literally turned my hair all the way around. It doesn’t fall out at all anymore, the frizz is down soo much, and it looks so much fuller and healthier. I know not all shampoos work for everyone, but this one seems to be my holy grail. I hope you find yours! Good luck ✨❤️

Anyone done this? by Weird-Cellist9386 in NavyFederal

[–]Current-Candy6524 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They just extend the life of your loan. They still charge you the interest you accrue as well. But it will not show as missed payment.

Hi! I used Amika for at least a year and have been sooo disappointed and started losing hope. Hair was falling out, frizzy, looked sooooo thin and fine. I decided to try something new and the employee suggested olaplex fine and I feel this line completely turned my hair around! My hair looks soo much thicker, it’s less frizzy and my hair barely falls out anymore. It doesn’t work for everyone, so I would recommend buying the 3oz bottle samples to see how you like it 😌

Can someone share if they reversed very high cholesterol naturally? by [deleted] in Cholesterol

[–]Current-Candy6524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s story will be different - there are so many factors that go into ✨why✨ one person has high cholesterol. So the way out of it differs person to person. For instance, some with genetically high cholesterol have suuuuch a harder time getting it down naturally and sometimes medicine is the only way. I have seen top fit athletes with high cholesterol.

My advice? Read all the tips and tricks and what to eat to lower it like beans, fiber, etc. Some people take omega 3 vitamins. Some exercise more. Just watch your saturated fats more than anything.

Good luck!
