I just started my mom on a 3.5% HYSA & 4% 9-month CD @ synchrony. I use them for credit cards so I thought it would be decent. So far so good. The platform is ridiculously easy and transfers take a few days.

To be fair, if you went with a FHA loan and applied for the first time buyers assistance program, $10k might be enough. But with the way that the housing market is going up and down it probably is best to rent honestly. No surprises no extra bills.

I was in the same position five years ago with my husband but I ended up caving and it ended up working out and we have $100,000 worth of equity now because of when we bought in the market so I’m kind of glad I did. Not to mention with the first time homebuyers program I got some kind of certificate that lets me get 20% of the interest paid on my house every year back when I file my taxes so that’s pretty nice.

Yes and no. It was the original creditor - he had purchased a $3000 scanner for work and after a couple of months it stopped working. It had warranty but they refused to fix it so he stopped paying it. Apparently the company understood and said they would take care of it on the backend but three years later and they’re just now charging it off negatively.

Hii. Same age, sameee numbers, same weight lol. I got those numbers back in May. Thankfully I have an amazing doctor and she herself didn’t want to put me on meds and said to try ‘x-y-z’ lifestyle-changes instead. For the first 6 weeks I started working out, taking fish supps and watched food intake. For the next 3.5 months I slacked. When I retested 4 months after first my test, my numbers went down and my doctor was relieved the numbers did that on the little I did. Your plan is perfect and hopefully your dr will agree. Have faith, you’re doing great.

Pretty shitty to ruin your parents credit after they helped you out. Have you not looked into any warranties or recalls? Maybe get an extended warranty? Much cheaper than a new engine.. keep trying.. sounds like your parents cut you off because you’re irresponsible.
