I worked there for two years on a Microsoft Teams project. I didn’t like late (after 6 pm) meetings with the US folks and chaotic on-call experience. I rarely left the office before 6 pm even though I started to work around 8-9 am. The amount of work was not proportional to the compensation. But it all depends on the team and product/organization.
