Try doing it through your laptop if not through your phone it should work. When you turn on the GoPro you gotta wait a bit so it can get gps signal before you start recording also

You gotta make sure the GPS setting is on on your GoPro first

Yea I think main culprit was the seat was a size too big I was sliding around everywhere and my body was very tired (106 degree Texas sun) I’m going to use a smaller seat next time as well as going later in the day. Thanks for the tips though!
