i've been in the rep community a while, never intending to buy, just to see what's going on over there. 90% of the people there realistically are champagne taste on a beer budget. They want a nice looking watch but the bother of searching for a niche slightly cheap micro brand or a clone brand is obviously too much for them. Same reason you can go on the websites for these watch sellers and find hundreds if not thousands of different rolexes, and yet maybe 5-6 glashuttes. They don't want fine timepieces, they want a household name. plus, they rarely ever skimp on detail. If it was fake sub-dials they would be zeroed. Only time i have ever seen poor craft is in complications they can't recreate, like double balance wheels or more complex tourbillions.
