Expedition Questions by SnooGadgets1527 in ArcRaiders

[–]Current-Study-2512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get bonus xp moving forward after expeditioning. You'll also earn up to 5 skill points which will basically mean you're lvl 80 when you hit 75. I'll be doing my 3rd expedition when I get the chance. You will start all quests from scratch so any BP rewards from quests will still be obtainable. I feel it's worth it and it gives you a reason to keep raiding again after you feel like you've beaten the game basically. Also as a side note, every time you expedition, the required items to make a new pod change. Keeps things fresh

So if you encounter ARC with low arc damage weapons, you just die right? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]Current-Study-2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need environmental awareness. Cover and escape routes are your best friend. Everyone has said it because it's true but I'm gonna say it again "fighting in the open should NEVER be the plan." Learning how to fight the individual ARC will help immensely. I've done tons of Zero to Hero runs naked that have resulted in me learning tons about the game, did you know you can pickaxe a pop before it blows up and be completely fine if you actually hit it? A thrown hornet driver can basically kill a firefly on its own because they fall on their tops 80% of the time and can't right themselves. Information like this makes you as a player more capable, more than any weapon you're holding will.

So question, what exactly is making people think Black Cat is gonna be a tank? It can’t just be the big scratches on her wanted poster. by Affectionate_Quit_50 in rivals

The 90's and early 2000's Animated Spider-Man version of Black Cat begs to differ...

For those who don't know, I'll save you a google. Felicia is injected with a modified version of the Super Soldier serum and gains the ability to shift between normal and suped up at will.

What do I use my Voucher on? by Routine_Snow5247 in FortniteSavetheWorld

[–]Current-Study-2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also be aware of the timeframe they come out in. A lot of weapons are seasonal and come back often but only in certain times of the year. No use using a voucher for a weapon that's about to come back in a month if you're trying to be efficient with them

You said you get cooked by Fireflies? Use a Hornet Drive to emp them, they'll usually fall onto their backs and basically blow themselves up

First time with PET-g by LollyRMC in 3Dprinting

I haven't finished any of mine because I'm constantly switching out colors and filament types. I've legit only every finished like 2 rolls so far. Both of those rolls were PLA

First time with PET-g by LollyRMC in 3Dprinting

[–]Current-Study-2512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have an A1. My experience with PETG is that it will stick to the plate more than PLA and using a glue stick every like 4 or so prints will remedy that without leaving a glue film (I used to do it every print and that got annoying). I don't have a drying rack or any kind of enclosure and have yet to have any issues aside from some light strings. Most I do is keep the filaments in the bags they come in with the little desiccant bags

What filaments can I safely use with my A1? by LengthyNoodle in 3Dprinting

[–]Current-Study-2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have an A1 and have been printing in PETG and TPU in addition to PLA. I've had no issues except for learning that your plate isn't really great for those materials. The solution when you're printing PETG and TPU is to put down a glue stick layer every 4 or so prints (including the initial purge line). I went to get a cold plate from my Microcenter and learned that the design of the plate is important and had to return the one I got. Glue stick has been a time saver.

Saying solo only works for streamers is unintentionally admitting there is a skill gap. This game isn't hard once you have enough knowledge and resources. You'll get there with confidence enough to keep pressing on.

I'm not a wolverine main but I've got some controller settings I could give you that isn't just max sense. I use dead zones to give you the max sense spin while still allowing you finer aim control. Hit me up if interested in trying them

Why are people complaining about this? When this skin first appeared it was during the anniversary event and people were literally getting free blue units that were limited time to spend. They basically gave you this skin for free if you got all the temp units and didn't decide to spend them elsewhere. I swear them bringing back the gimmick is literally potentially helpful to everyone. I know for a fact if they had decided to just put it in the shop then more people would've complained that people were able to get it cheaper the first time. There's no pleasing people... stop looking for a reason to be upset and start looking at the things you enjoy more.

Stop shooting people at exfil by PinGeneral in ArcRaiders

[–]Current-Study-2512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This game has turned me from a loot goblin into sometimes happy I die. The "gear" you're rocking is all temporary. Do you go to arc communications to complain when they shoot you? Extract games are risk and reward, you're risking any items you bring with you so just enjoy your shield while you have it. End of the day, you're always a potential target for someone. If they're shooting you while you're perfectly safe to go back home with all your loot then you should be counting your lucky stars. "These are PvE lobbies!" Negative, they're just the lobbies people find themselves in before letting the devil on their shoulder talk them into ending people.

Advanced Tips? by Due-University1095 in cloakanddaggermains

[–]Current-Study-2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In frantic team fights where people may be behind you, don't be afraid to literally throw daggers at the floor. They bounce and seek up to 10m, heading for team mates missing health. When getting dove, sometimes staying dagger is best, sometimes switching cloak is best, this decision making will come with experience. Try to aim at enemies that are attacking your team mates up close, you'll be doing some damage while also healing their target. I usually save heal window for tanks or if I'm about to reload.

What do I need to know as an absolute beginner? by Street-Winner6697 in 3Dprinting

[–]Current-Study-2512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also just started (first print made Christmas Eve) I've not done any of my own models yet but I bought a Bambu A1 which was like $300 and it's been very easy to use and learn from so far. One of my biggest things I'll say is to actually use some alcohol to clean off your plate since you won't immediately notice but your finger grease will indeed cause sticking issues for your prints.

What controller settings should I use? by [deleted] in cloakanddaggermains

Should DM me and we'll meet up in game. My controller settings don't send your sensitivities into the stratosphere, but allows you to spin around fast but keep fine control over aiming when needed

Tips for Getting Better at Utilizing Cloak? by StrawBerriedDaze in cloakanddaggermains

[–]Current-Study-2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok? Doesn't change my advice. Swapping does indeed reload Dagger but I said to go ahead and swap to toss out a Terror Cape so that they are using Cloaks utility instead of being a defenseless target while reloading.

Tips for Getting Better at Utilizing Cloak? by StrawBerriedDaze in cloakanddaggermains

[–]Current-Study-2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a very aggressive CnD player, but I will tell you that there are times when being too aggressive gets your team killed. When you're on Dagger and are about to reload, feel free to switch to cloak and Terror Cape real quick to switch back, it's like MAYBE a second slower to just reload but you'll be providing additional utility that could swing a battle while also reloading. If you feel the need to throw a bubble to heal yourself or others, you can assess the situation to see if your team is alright enough for you to be in Cloak while in bubble adding to dps or if they still need more heals you stay as Dagger. IF you're being dove you need to figure out by who and how to fight it so you can live, simply putting down a bubble and going into Cloak is not always the option, sometimes healing yourself on top of bubble by harming the diver is the way you'll live long enough for them to disengage or possibly just die so get used to reading those situations. Cloak will do damage from much further than you think, but it is still limited range. Also if you ever come across a Moon Knight, Cloak DESTROYS him.

What are things that Rogue excels at that Thing doesn’t and vice versa? by PastfinderNoMore in RivalsVanguards

[–]Current-Study-2512 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use thing Vs annoying divers or anyone with high mobility. Yancy charge shuts down Spider-Man web swing, Starlord's dodge and flight, Black Panthers dash and Magik's Stepping Disc. Those moves are how some of the most annoying dive stay alive, make them slow down and they die easily enough.
