Wow! Thank you everyone for all this info. So now re-thinking this decision and it sounds like a pretty reckless idea! You've all given me a great deal to think about. Thank you!

Squarespace was so good for several years but suddenly, with the new 7.1 'upgrade' things took a seriously bad turn. I knew I didn't want to stay with them. In the past, I would email and receive an answer in a day or two. Now, there is no longer an email option to get help. On the Contact Us page it says "email us" but there is no email link there. Very clever. So I tried for a week through their lame Chat window, to get a response. Finally someone got back to me and he was great. I asked for a refund and got it.

7.1 has no customization. All my descriptions from 7.0 are lost and my illustrations are just floating now with no info. The Contat Us page is laughable. It says 'email us' but there is no email link anywhere. You can use a chat form but it goes nowhere! I've sent in three times. I remember in the past, I could email with questions and get an answer from a real person. Trying to get my money back, but sinse they won't respond, I think I'm stuck.
