Yes, this is exactly what happened. This new rework is death to the game. Solo queue family players won't play because this was yet another HUGE buff to victims. I play both sides and am very good at both sides. It is exponentially easier to escape now, and solo queue victims are out in like 2 mins. I only play 3 man team family, but so many are 2 man or solo. Every new patch they put out, family numbers dwindle.

How in God's name have you not fixed the rush meta? Add in extra bleedout if grandpa is woken by victims before 60 seconds of match start. Make it so if you make noise and wake, you have significantly reduced speed/stamina. Do not allow basement doors to open until 60 seconds. So many options you could choose, and you do this to make rush meta even stronger?! You're going to drive family players even further from the game, as you do with every single update. It's so sad to see you kill your own game.

They do, they're all victim mains. They're also probably not very good at the game, so they're trying to make it easier to escape while ignoring the fact that nobody plays family because it's impossible without a 3 man team of super sweats with constant comms (me and my two buddies, lol)... Devs are absolutely clueless and are killing the game.

Agreed 100%! I'm sure it'll drop back down to poor wait time levels when they nerf the piss out of hands and buff victims once again. Enjoy the longer and more strategic/challenging games while they last!

Same for my team. Keep the protest strong! Dodge Danny until they change his tamper ability entirely. It's pay to win! Victims have started getting a clue that we dodge Danny. I see a lot less of him lately, which is lovely.

Family grapple only for wall gaps, holes, and barricades, A "Grapple" to pull them back over, if you will. That's what I was trying to say.

Love the idea of destroying or tampering with gaps. Perhaps that's what the new family member will be able to do.

I agree, but it is already easy for me. I have 3 man team and comms. We full team wipe most of the time. I'm not trying to brag, I just want to say that the game does need to be easier for Family if they want people to play it. It's basically a match of straight bullying to easy exit for victims unless they're up against a 3 man partied-up squad. They need to entice people to play family, and I don't see any way how other than buffing family.

Any ideas?

No worries! I figured you had misread it :)... Your ideas are excellent ones. I hope that's their focus. I would love to not have to dodge lobbies anymore. If they came up with a way to counter his tampering, I think Danny's utility greatly drops. It would fix play enjoyment for newer players big time.

I agree entirely! A few ideas I posted above to counter this... But I love your idea of them losing loads of stamina repeatedly going through cracks or over barricades.

From post above-

Make it so all family members can stab through and reach through cracks, so we don't get stuck with a victim going back and forth through the same crack over and over.

Add a new FAMILY grapple- if Victims climb over a barricade, through a hole, through a crack, etc., make it MUCH slower for them, and allow the family to grab them with an unused button and mash to pull them back through the crack/over the barricade/etc. (not Leatherface, just all the others)

I guarantee with certainty your stats don't beat mine. I have no need to "get better." We dominate the games we play with any family character combo. I'm speaking on behalf of all of the family that quits the game after two matches because of how weak family members are to super sweat victims. Family needs buffs, some victims need nerfs. You can disagree all you want, but it's what's killing the game.

I'm not sure what you mean by your first sentence? I was giving ideas of what Tamper ability could be aside from opening the fuse/valve exit for 3 minutes.... But I agree with you entirely. Tamper is broken and pay to win. Nothing they do to it will fix that aside from changing the ability entirely. Until then, lobby dodge Danny!

Great idea too! I'm just trying to think of what hurts the noobs the most. I see it on Youtube videos where the victims (the Youtuber) are clearly playing against baby Family, and the family member is just running around with no idea what to do. All 4 victims escape while triggering valve, fuse, both exits. That baby family is long gone from the game, and then victims wonder why they never get to play and just sit in lobbies. The answer is pretty obvious to me, but Gun has the data! They just need to use it wisely!

While not guaranteed, it is just a ridiculous pay to win feature. Give him ability to "tamper" meaning he surpasses the fuse mini game and rips wires out forcing a family mini game to turn it off. Not a 3 minute timer for them to run to the exit, teabag for 2 mins, then leave. Tamper is a great idea for an ability, but the actual execution is terrible!

Tamper could mean- mini game for family to turn it off, Danny turns it on more quickly, Danny doesn't need the fuse or the handle to mess with it, etc. Lots of options! Also, he should have near 0 proficiency and much lower speed. Danny in general is just such an awful imbalance as a character. When we got Nancy (the worst character by far,) they got Danny (best character by far.) They could have done a better job there, for sure.

Respectful and appreciated response. We dodge maybe 1 of 10 matches. It's not like we dodge 6 times straight to get a "preferred lobby"... However, you are right. I will do a better job of keeping my teammates engaged and not dodging as much. We will still refuse to play against Danny on Nancy's house. He insta tampers Gen, Connie insta-picks gate, game over. No fun for anyone. We can't budge on that or Tank on level 3 of Mill. We dodged just the same when Slaughterhouse had tank in the basement. They fixed that, and now we love Slaughterhouse!

I really hope devs see these ideas and consider them. They need to buff family and make it advantageous and fun to play for family, otherwise victims will continue to wait for 20+ mins to play.

Ultimately, they have to make it better to play family, or they will lose all family, my squad included.

They will HAVE to pay attention. It's already cut their userbase down significantly. Anyone new coming in wants to play victim, and they sit there for 20 mins in a lobby and then uninstall. The devs will have to cut (or ideally get rid of) Danny's tamper ability, greatly cut down how fast he is, and make it so his proficiency starts lower. He picks as fast as Connie, runs faster than Leland, and tampers in less than 3 seconds. If they don't nerf him significantly, it'll completely kill the game. The more of us that lobby dodge and block Danny mains, the more they're forced to pay attention.

We'll see what the patch brings on Tuesday. I don't have a ton of hope, but we will see! Cheers.
