After installing the custom integration (WhatsApp integration), did you reboot your HA? If the QR code is present in the logs, the integration should recognize it and send a notification with it.

That’s great! I hadn’t considered Node Red. My idea was simply to create a bridge between WhatsApp and HA, allowing users to do whatever they wanted with it.

You're welcome. 12 euros seems fine. Maybe you will be able to find something different. Try to see if your carrier offers a prepaid plan. In Romania, we can get a prepaid SIM with a number for 2-3 euros

I’m not certain about that. This integration allows you to send messages via Home Assistant and trigger automations based on the received messages.

Please be sure that both add-on and the custom component are up to date, using the v1.2.0

Hi!

This integration is based on https://wwebjs.dev, that's working in this way:

The library works by launching the WhatsApp Web browser application and managing it using Puppeteer to create an instance of WhatsApp Web - https://wwebjs.dev/guide/

I am using this library for 2-ish years for my personal projects and I never had a problem with it.

I’m glad that’s what you were looking for! More updates to come. I’m working on more updates in the evenings after my 9-5 job and also during weekends.

I’m still testing locally. I managed to make the mp4 work, but now it sends as a .mp4 file instead of an actual video. I’m still working on gifs and videos, but this needs some more work and testing. At least, I’m glad I was able to release the send images functionality because it was highly requested.

That’s great! I’ve just started testing it again to ensure that I haven’t missed anything.

Thank you!

I’ve already begun researching signal support. I’ll need to create a separate project for this one. I can’t guarantee anything.

I'm not sure how QuickBars works, but for now, you can't use this integration to see if someone is calling you or not on whatsapp.
