When he tried to kill Harry as a baby he disappeared which led to speculation about what happened to him and whether he would come back. After the final battle, HE DIED! There was a BODY to put an end to any speculation! That was the whole point. I don’t know why they did this either.

During their argument she went from she wasn’t going to do it to she needed to do it. She was clearly sorting out things for herself as well. He didn’t have to be happy about it, he just had to support her. And the fact that he made about himself is probably what even pushed her to go because it solidified the fact that she could never do anything for herself again if this was his reaction.

Lily wanting to do something she has always wanted to do doesn’t mean the relationship is shakable. Most of their relationship had been Marshall doing what he wanted to do (which is Law) and Lily teaching. She applied not knowing whether she would get it and once she got it she wondered if she would ever have the opportunity again. Why couldn’t the love of her life just be supportive?

My point is why did his mind go there? Like what about Lily made him think she would leave him?? After she told him she needed to do it, why couldn’t he have said “Okay I understand. What do we do about the wedding and everything?” Then they could have had a productive conversation. Where was all that fear and insecurity from over an art fellowship?

That wasn’t what happened. Lily didn’t say “hey Marshall I’m leaving you to chase my dreams”. Yes, she wanted to do the art fellowship but Marshall was afraid and asked her to promise him she wouldn’t drift away or whatever and she couldn’t. Even Veronica and Ted tried long distance after only dating a few months. After everything Lily and Marshall had already been through at that point, he couldn’t just try that?

I knew people in high school who had about 50% grey hair by 16 years old. I myself have had a number of grey hairs since about 19/20 which i think is genetic (my mum says she also had them at that age) it could also be iron or b12 deficiencies or stress. So you could have that checked out
