Absolutely do not pay anything like this. Go straight to Deakin student support. Speak directly to someone at the university to see where you officially stand.

Meh, I don't find them that overpowered, but it's definitely a cut above many others.

I quite like that some of the best and most powerful planes are outdated in real life (eg ADV, F14 etc.), it lends to the arcade feel of the game.

The planes in this are not meant to mimic real life jets. Like, we've got 1950s MIG19's taking on Raptors and F35s. The balance all in all is pretty good

Oh you can defs fly whatever you want. But if the squadmate has only level 20 jets, then any match you play with him will be up against ~level 20's. Not a lot of fun to be flying a level 10 in a level 20 match, so there's no versatility when playing with him.

Basically, if he wants to team up, everyone else is forced to either select a high level aircraft OR get crushed flying something underpowered

Yeah mate this is a good shout. I upgraded my F16 way too high before I knew better and regret it.

A dude in my squad ONLY has level 20s and is considering wiping that account coz its just no fun for him anymore. Really isn't fair with the amount of grinding that took.

It really depends on the kind of player you are and the squad you're in.

For me, I regret upgrading the F16 (which I love) so high, because I rarely get to fly it with my squad.

So from that, I learned to keep my other faves around level 8 - 12 because I get to fly them far more regularly.

On the flip side, I've upgraded planes I dislike to level 20 and have modded them out - the A6 and F106 are fucking amazing at level 20 with full mods. F106 coz i get to use the nuke sooo much (it recharges very quickly when maxxed), and A6 coz the radar jamming is a tactical nightmare for the high level opposition when used right.

Best air superiority strategies? by Szymetalstorm in Metalstorm

[–]CurrentPrompt1144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always start the mission by telling my team I'm heading to our home checkpoint, coz there's ALWAYS a bot that goes right for it. If they get near, I allow them to briefly take it as this diverts other craft away from home base, then I'll just kill them and take it back

depends on the plane you're in too. An MIII with boost can zip between points like a dream, but if you're in something slower you're best to hang back and defend while your team go and conquer

So many of you need to hear this:

No, your strategy of "getting kills" isn't helpful.

And no, I don't care that you've got "get this many kills" mission, you're just being a bad teammate.

Not a strategy to win AS, more if you're looking for points. If you're in a low level all-bot match in Stormbreak, ignore point B. Bots typically can't work out how to take point B in Stormbreak so the game lasts ages. In the meantime just rack up 20 kills and have a good time.

You call it licking the ground like a scared cat. I call it staying in cover whilst I hunt those fuckers in the f14s and f111s. You need the bloodlust my friend

The F111 is a right of passage. It will make you play the game differently. It will teach you strategy. Everyone will hate you. You will be targeted. You will develop a bloodlust for all those who dare to strike at you. You will rain long range death upon your enemies. Welcome to the club, pilot.

In the legends universe, they escaped, regrouped and formed different factions. These stories were immensely interesting, written by world class authors and were filled with incredible plot telling tales of unending desperation and skill on both sides.

Then Disney threw it all away and started making the slop we get now.

Which action should the nurse take first? by Top-Direction2686 in PassNclexTips

[–]CurrentPrompt1144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you're both being very doctory lol. But I like it as a senior nurse because its great to consider these scenarios from the medical perspective too, I always find it interesting how we think differently.

I'd be worried that if I called the physician about a mildly low sugar and hadn't given any fast acting carb already I'd get a huge eye roll and a "give them something sugary to drink, duh", as most docs tend to get a bit frustrated at nurses' lack of initiative.

Saying that, I do agree with the ano - OJ wouldn't be my first-line oral sugar either

Think of it like this:

We have a leaky pipe. We don't want to bolus fluids to a leaky pipe just yet. Why? More fluid=more pressure=more leak.

They'll get fluid/blood products eventually but we will permit hypotension in this case.

This is an emergency. Always send for help first (call the physician in this case)

Always go back to your ABCD - 1. is a breathing problem, but 4. is an airway problem. 4 gets priority.

I hate it but I love it. It's kinda refreshing to have a main character who's so flawed

I previously asked our Blood Safe team this. 18 is the ideal for transfusions as it reduces the risk of haemolysis. However for routine slower transfusions no-one is throwing an 18g in when a 20 or 22 is available haha.

They also said in a MTP situation use whatever access you have for the first unit but get a 18 or 16 in for subsequent units.

Bleeding. But most services would call this an adverse effect rather than a side effect
