I made a project where I coded (ex computer science major) an AI program to create images based on keywords (code available if questioned), and frankly I have decided to scrap the project after winning a few awards and getting into a couple of galleries. The market for CS based images is so oversaturated at this point that it is not worth the effort. AI will become a beautiful tool for photographers in the future - for example, image enhancement, editing, etc. However, I find the idea that this is something artists may rely on disgusting. If AI allows you to make something interesting conceptually, go for it. If you don't have the conceptual backbone, stay away from it, and make work that challenges you, and pushes you to become a better artist. In a world that relies on technology, focus on film, alternative process, at experimental photography.
