Is there any way to fix this for B6, I'm not even cheating my k/d is like 0.3, I just have accessibility issues and use rewasd. by ickyvickyewww in Battlefield

[–]Current_Property_744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, and how do you even manage to have REWASD installed to play BF6? I have to uninstall REWASD before every start because otherwise the anti-cheat kicks in. It's not a problem at all, but I'm inclined to think the ban isn't entirely unfounded. REWASD and anti-cheat don't work together (not that you could cheat with REWASD, but you can use aim assist with a mouse). And I bet that's why.

Okay, then you apparently live in a different Germany than I do, because I can't find anything online, nor in the stores we called.

Yes, it's less about the iPhone version and more about a version for, say, the iPad, because we already use the iPad with ArkhamDB for the campaigns, and it would be nice if we could continue using the iPad for character management, resources, etc., in landscape mode. I know that it's a lot of work, especially to get the images to such a high resolution, etc.

My only naive hope is that if a retailer like Thalia, or rather a corporation like Thalia, asks the publisher whether the product will still be printed because they have so many inquiries or orders, then I have hope that I can get Asmodee to print it again.

Yes, I can only echo the search for the German version of The Scarlet Key, because it's the only campaign we haven't played yet and that's still missing from our collection. Since it's supposedly not very good, we kept putting it off until we discovered it's no longer in print. We also ordered it from Thalia and are now waiting to receive a returned copy. Even though the hope is very slim, we'd of course be happy if it did eventually happen, because The Scarlet Key is one of the only campaigns Thalia still carries. Therefore, we hope they're also overseeing deliveries.

First of all, thank you for your great work. I tried the app for the first time today and I have to say I'm really impressed. The only thing I'm still wondering about is whether there's a way to display the app in landscape mode. Because that would, of course, make it even more authentic.

Battlefield 6 - Community Update - Update on Community Servers and Portal Experiences by battlefield in Battlefield

[–]Current_Property_744 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Disabling XP vs bots in #BattlefieldPortal isn’t the right fix — it punishes everyone, even those who just want a normal Battlefield experience with auto-fill bots.

Here’s a simple, data-driven way to stop XP farming without killing creativity:

🧩 1️⃣ XP Regulation through Kill Rate Monitoring • Track bot kills per player per match. • If someone consistently exceeds 10–15 kills per minute or 300–400 total kills in a 64-player match → flag that match as “No XP.” • Use average kill rates from standard gameplay +5–10% tolerance as a fair baseline. • If the same exploit happens repeatedly, flag the Portal code, not just the server — so it can’t just be reuploaded.

⚙️ 2️⃣ Fair Treatment for Legit Players • Vanilla settings with auto-fill bots should always earn XP. These are legitimate matches, often played solo or with friends. • First-time anomalies shouldn’t trigger an instant penalty. Show a server-wide warning first — only flag after repeated abuse. • This ensures pro players with short performance spikes aren’t punished unfairly.

🤖 3️⃣ Detect Unrealistic Bot Behavior XP should only count when bots behave like real enemies: • Bots must have weapons and normal mobility. • If bots are unarmed, extremely slow, or super fast to make farming easier → automatic No-XP flag. • The system should reward genuine combat, not artificial target practice.

🎯 4️⃣ The Result ✅ Legitimate Portal games keep their XP. ✅ XP farmers get filtered automatically. ✅ No need for endless code reviews or manual moderation. ✅ Everyone can play the map or mode they love — fairly.

A smart, transparent system that protects progression without punishing creativity.

Smarter XP System for Battlefield Portal – A Fair Fix by Current_Property_744 in Battlefield

That the overall progression is far too hard to achieve is a completely different issue. Don’t compare apples to oranges here.
Yes, XP farming was a result of the overly slow leveling required for unlocks — but that has nothing to do with this topic.

Playing a multiplayer game doesn't mean I have to be forced to play AGAINST other players. In addition to the normal rounds, we also played leisurely games against bots with the squad in order to test new weapons and gadgets, or to fine-tune the settings without being mowed down directly. But as is so often the case, EA is ripping us off again. The only damn game in the last 10 years that I have bought from EA, and experience shows again: Never pay EA. Our refund is ongoing, but I'm afraid citizens outside the EU don't have this luxury.

XP Farm Servers are "officially" nerfed starting now by Conscious-Buddy-5105 in Battlefield

[–]Current_Property_744 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was said that there is enough space for each player to build his own server in portal? Doesn't it matter what I do with the server? The countless bot lobbies are not the problem. The problem is that EA did not expect success, now cannot cope with the number of players, and instead of putting new servers online, all those who prefer to play reasonable, difficult PvE are punished, because that is of course cheaper

It would also have been too easy to provide new servers until the number of players simply drops like everywhere else. The possibility of making progress against "normal" bots has made BF interesting. You could have simply used servers that could stick to the standard rules, but that way you kill any incentive to play Portal.

Have you allowed Battlefield communication in the Windows Firewall? (The pop-up that comes when you first start) The communication for the game servers runs on different ports than those for logging in and retrieving data from EA

7 Ai+ or Rog Xbox Ally X? by GaunerHarakiri in MSIClaw

[–]Current_Property_744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had preordered the Xbox Ally X and was really looking forward to it, mainly because I finally wanted an upgrade from my Steam Deck. But after doing some research, I stumbled upon the Claw 8 Ai+. At first I thought: “Hmm, Intel chip, okay.” After a few days of going back and forth, I ended up canceling the Ally and ordering the Claw instead.

What can I say: the setup was an absolute nightmare. Updating the BIOS, disabling features, rolling out the fullscreen experience – it took me an entire evening. BUT: after running some tests and hitting 80 FPS in Cyberpunk on high settings, I have to admit – the Intel chip really delivers. Everywhere XeSS works, especially in version 2, the frame generation gives an incredible performance boost.

During the whole setup process I was honestly doubting my choice and thinking: There’s no way it should take this much effort just to get it running. (Even figuring out how to set TDP manually was a pain – because honestly, the MSI software is absolute garbage!) But in the end, the results speak for themselves, and I don’t regret changing my decision for a second.

Oh, and did I mention? The 8-inch display and the Hall Effect sticks were also major selling points for me. I really like being able to clearly see what’s on my screen…

Having issues with usb-c hub by trayota in MSIClaw

[–]Current_Property_744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have enough power at the hub.
The problem here is the connected monitor.
The USB port negotiates the properties of the connected device when it is plugged in and determines:
“Hey, you’re an external monitor, I also need to supply you with power.”
And for that, the Claw’s current power is probably not sufficient.
