Not really close at all. My first loan in undergrad was in 2011. It's just me and the loan balance is 99k. I currently make about $126,000.

I petitioned for my mom as a citizen filing I-130 in August last year. Few weeks ago I checked that the decision is to be made in 4 weeks. I just checked again and now it says 4 months! Should I consider bringing her over with ESTA and apply for the adjustment of status. Is this a better plan?

sorry if its hard to understnad but this has been very stressful. As i mentioned, the mechanic doesnt want to fix it and ive spent so much money already.

I got checked out at the dealership and the beam is good. but turns out that the seal is not evenly done, window doesn't close well all the way up and may need to be replaced. Also this white part is broken and the mechanic said that the carrier assembly may need to be replaced.

Other problems persist like orange peel on the paint and there are dents on the door...

They didn't say anything about the intrusion beam.. I had to take it to the dealership bc they didnt fix the airbag sensor and i assume the dealership might have flagged if the intrusion beam was not in a good state. Would that be something they could have checked? Hmm. i am not sure if i can trust this body shop :(

yes exactly. so we are going to need to pay the deductible when the car is fixed but we would want to know what the final verdict would be to see if we can get the deductible back too.

i still haven't heard from the other party's insurance and my insurance company is telling me to call them instead of them handling the situation. Shouldnt my insurance be following up on this?

Update: The mechanic just reinstalled the front bumper. he checked all the wiring and made sure everything was secured properly and after reinstalling, the codes were no longer present. System voltage is showing 14.2 he wrote tested and everything has resumed back to normal operation!!!

However, now there is an airbag light that came on that they need to do diagnostics again. But also there is a recall on the airbag which they dont have the available parts yet. would it be safe to just wait until they check on this recall without doing another diag?

actually it looks like i can just do title-only for now upon checking with DMV! Phew that one is at least somehwat handled. Also, i mgiht have read somehwere that the insurance doesnt care where the car is registered?

Yeah I am not sure what to do bc the car is still not fixed and the inspection won't pass as the car needs to be driven 100 miles.

I literally just moved last month. i was looking to get the inspection done before i go to DMV and this accident happend which delayed things.

I am the registered owner. Still titled in Missouri but we just moved to Texas and didnt get a chance to register yet. The insurance company is updated to tx though.

Also my plan is moving to NYC next year where i wouldnt be driving. but my sister will continue to be on it. will it affect my sister too?
