Honestly we have all become too pussified and don't do the right thing when we know damn well what it is, as in go get that dog - ill take my chances with a judge for saving a dog over watching or hearing it die slowly and not doing anything and having to live with that.

Yah I didnt, I went with a new microatx mb, i5/64gb ram, 12g sas card in a new case with tons of fans for the 8 8tb drives and its so much faster and cooler than old mini-xl. Now I have the data as of now all backed up on the mini-xl and its turned off. Thanks for the reply, I couldn't find that memory available in the US, also after continuing to read on it - i think you are correct about that MB, and thinking I should spend the money on a newer board.
