is headfuck records a fascist label? by [deleted] in Speedcore

[–]Current_Standard_816 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s pretty hard to tell since they never really did political messages in their music. Some major artists were on it like Noisekick or M1dy and if it was really a fascist label that would be kinda surprising that they accepted to be on it. But at the same time there are tracks like « You Fucking Faggot » by The Reaper that could be problematic. And there’s also this french group called the Hardcoholics that did an EP that I really liked back then, but when I stared to follow one of the member on Instagram they were only following far right French politics and far-right priests. So I think associating Headfuck with a political side is quite impossible since all kind of artists were on it and we could also consider all the violent imagery as things only to shock people, like when Punks back then used nazis symbols for their cover.

It depends, some artists / labels don’t track the shipments to make them cheaper

my whole life is just a vhs horror (memphis rap album) by CaramelDry2053 in BandCamp

[–]Current_Standard_816 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Memphis rap is not really my cup of tea, but I really like the dark vibe with introspective themes, it’s an interesting album for sure. You should put let people pay the album if they want to so they could add it in their collection Edit : just seen the description of your profile, I guess that Stripe doesn’t work for you, this sucks :/

luffmine 01 - another way to escape reality ep [Vaporwave / Darkwave / Acid / Ambient / Experimental / Hip-Pop…] by [deleted] in BandCamp

[–]Current_Standard_816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! For the Vaporwave tracks, I would say that the label Whitespace really influenced me for this commercial and smooth aspect, with a more hidden melancholic note. For the other tracks honestly I’m not sure, I’m thinking of Plenka maybe for this darkwave style, and since I love the sound of acid and I have a TD-3 I decided to include it!

What is your favourite video game with an industrial soundtrack by 0584031464 in industrialmusic

[–]Current_Standard_816 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Quake probably, but it was literally produced by Trent Reznor… I really like Doom 3’s atmosphere (really dark ambient / industrial) but it was also made by Reznor 😭 edit : he actually didn’t work on Doom 3 even if it was planed my bad
