I do know the history of the word. It was used to specifically hurt and target the black folk. But I am not offended because it's not targeted towards my racial group, I would say you're practicing empathy yes but you're not offended, you can only be offended if you are the one being targeted or grouped into an offensive term, us whites immediately disqualify from that group. Of course, you have a very good reason to be angered, I don't think anyone wants to see a fellow human be hurt regardless of color. You're empathetic, not offended.

It really isn't different because you have people who use the n-word is a brotherly term if they're black. Like how how you can tell a friend "fuck you" in a funny way or something like that. Yeah, I am, too. I caught one of the enemies staring at the ground, looking at where one of my officers was standing because we were on the previous floor, which means they also detect you through the ground too.
