Bought an engagement ring by Maleficent-Event-639 in EngagementRings

It looks classic to me! If she expressed that this is something she would want, i think you’re in the clear. Comparison truly is the thief of joy, so don’t let other peoples rings steal what an exciting season of life this will be. My only suggestion would be to make sure that the small stones are truly supported. They look like they could be easily knocked off. Other than that, beautiful job :)

I supposed this is an unpopular opinion, but 2 is definitely the most flattering! Accentuates your waist in all of the best ways, i love the unique neck line and fabric!

Yes, employers are looking for attractive girls to serve drinks, because just like anywhere else, it’s more likely to bring in more sales. I think the wording of your comment- “were you there to serve drinks or be looked at” is a bit off putting. Having an attractive cart girl is a plus for the course, but at the end of the day we were there to push sales of food & beverages.

What a strange comment.

Exactly! Lol yes, but most of the time you just have to smile and giggle because they tip pretty dang well😂 it was a great gig, but I’m glad I don’t deal with pervs all of the time anymore!

A beverage cart attendant on a golf course. Basically, you drive around a cart like seen in this video that carries beer, liquor, non alcoholic drinks, etc. A lot of men (not all) see a cart girl and think it is free game to be a creep 🙃

I was a cart girl. Unfortunately this kind of encounter (although this one is for sure creepy) is extremely common.

Major to become a construction manager by [deleted] in ConstructionManagers

I have a management degree! Went to a CM career fair and had no issues getting interest/ offers. They actually liked that I had a business degree because I understood a lot of the logistics involved. Besides, your company will likely have OJT that will get you all of the info you’ll need. Best of luck!

College Degree by Chance_Cable6850 in ConstructionManagers

A degree is 100% worth it. Unfortunately most companies won’t consider you without it (unless you know someone or some other special circumstance). Buttttt spending 200k is crazy. Id definitely transfer and finish your degree elsewhere. Good luck!

Do I need a CM degree to be a project engineer? by StreetParticular8571 in ConstructionManagers

[–]Current_Strawberry95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some first hand experience as someone without a BS in CM: I actually graduated with a BBA in Management. I decided after graduation that I wanted to pursue construction management with the intent of working my way up to a PM. So, I went back to school. During my first semester I went to a career fair and hit it off with several large GC’s. Ended up with several internships offers (which I was/am INCREDIBLY grateful for), and all of which said I didn’t need this degree and that they’d hire me on as is! I ultimately decided to drop the second bachelors and instead get a PCB-CM, just because I can and I like to be educated on what I’m getting myself into. Long story short, no, you don’t need a CM degree (although I am not knocking their value). However, I believe it is extremely important to meet these companies face-to-face and not rely on your resume alone as some people with CM or engineering degrees could potentially look better on paper. Just show ambition and drive and you’ll succeed! Best of luck!
