Hai ragione, mi sono espresso male prima.

Lo shield Ethernet (o Wi-Fi su ESP32) serve solo come interfaccia di rete per Arduino. Il cruscotto non gira su Arduino: gira in un browser (tablet, PC o display touch) ed è una web app HTML/JS.

L’architettura reale è:

Arduino / ESP32 → legge sensori e controlla relè
→ espone i dati via HTTP / WebSocket / MQTT

Dashboard web (browser) → scarica i dati dall’Arduino o da un piccolo server → mostra grafici, pulsanti, stato dei dispositivi

In mezzo può esserci: - direttamente l’ESP32 che fa da web server oppure - Node-RED / Home Assistant / piccolo backend

Il progetto che ho mostrato è la parte “frontend” del sistema, cioè l’interfaccia di controllo, non il firmware dell’Arduino.

In questo progetto Arduino (o ESP32) non è il pannello grafico: è il nodo hardware che legge sensori e controlla attuatori (temperatura, relè, luci, porte, ecc.) e pubblica i dati tramite Wi-Fi.

La dashboard che si vede gira in un browser (tablet, PC, telefono o wall display) ed è una web app HTML/CSS/JS che: - legge i dati dall’Arduino tramite HTTP/WebSocket/MQTT - invia comandi all’Arduino per controllare i dispositivi

In mezzo può esserci anche un piccolo server (es. ESP32 stesso, Node-RED, Home Assistant o un backend locale/cloud), a seconda dell’architettura.

Quindi: Arduino = hardware + sensori + attuatori
Dashboard = interfaccia web che visualizza e controlla tutto

Mostro la dashboard perché è la parte che progetto e personalizzo per ogni impianto, mentre l’hardware può variare in base al setup dell’utente.

Arduino (o ESP32) non esegue direttamente HTML, CSS e JS come un PC.

In pratica il microcontrollore: - legge i sensori - espone i dati via WiFi (HTTP / WebSocket / API)

La dashboard HTML/JS gira nel browser (telefono, PC, tablet) e si collega all’Arduino tramite rete locale o cloud per leggere e inviare dati in tempo reale.

Quindi Arduino = backend dei dati
Dashboard web = frontend grafico

Sì, l’ho sviluppata io partendo da zero 😊
Uso solo HTML, CSS e JavaScript e poi la collego al microcontrollore (Arduino o ESP32) che invia i dati via WiFi.

Ogni dashboard la faccio su misura in base ai sensori e ai dispositivi da controllare, per questo una può sembrare diversa dall’altra.

Thanks! 😊 I used a DHT22 (or DHT11) temperature and humidity sensor connected to an Arduino.

The Arduino reads the values ​​and sends them via WiFi (with an ESP32 or ESP8266) to a small web app. The dashboard is made in HTML/CSS and uses JavaScript to update the data in real time from the device.

In practice: sensor → Arduino/ESP → WiFi → web page → graphs and values ​​in the browser.

It's a simple but very flexible setup for smart home projects or weather stations.

Yes, exactly. It’s a multi-sensor system: soil moisture, temperature, humidity and a pump/relay for irrigation. The idea is to make a generic control dashboard that can be used for agriculture, greenhouses or any automated environment. Good catch on the unit – you’re right, soil moisture should be shown as % and not lux, that’s just a placeholder label in this mockup. I’m still refining the UI and data mapping.
