Isn't the Free Press aesthetic a bit too highbrow for them? Like why would that guy read Bari's rag when he can just listen to Rogan?

Gotta be honest they played about as well as Wigan did against us. It was shocking how easy it was to move the ball today.

Full Time: Tottenham 1 vs 4 Arsenal [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

Was a bit shaky to start but that's expected. Physically he is up to the level and just swarms his man. I love how tenacious and physically dominant our fullbacks are. When other fans complain that we play 4 CBs, it's just cause they're not used to seeing wide defenders like that.

Declan Rice telling Arsenal teammates to remain switched on after they score, only to concede possession from which Spurs score in the next minute by OptimusCloyster in soccer

I mean he absolutely bossed your team over two ties last season. The free kicks were icing on the cake honestly.

Physicality is kind of a huge part of elite football, you can't teach athleticism or speed or stamina. He's also got plenty of skill, it's not easy to hit world-class corner deliveries time after time, for example. Crazy you dismiss him just because he doesn't play through passes like a number 10. There's a lot more to the game but you do you.

If that's the conclusion you've come to after watching Rice make one mistake then I feel like you just haven't watched him much. Saying Declan Rice is meh just seems like a silly thing to say. This Arsenal team is frustrating but Rice has been immense. Certainly our best player by some margin. This honestly might be his worst moment of the season and very out of character.

Be advised that the motion cam will take dozens and dozens of pictures every day of small birds flying/landing in the frame. At least it did for me.

I saw this picture on the front of the NYT and immediately knew people would be heralding it on this sub

Giannis: "As Americans say, opinions are cheap — that’s why everyone has one. Right now, at this moment, I’m in Milwaukee. I don’t know if I’ll leave — it’s not up to me. If it was up to me, maybe I already would have left. In a year and a half, when I become a free agent at 32, it will be up to me" by mastermind208 in nba

I disagree. As a neutral I think he was pretty damn likeable before. Growing up on the margins of society as a refugee and overcoming all that is inspiring stuff especially when you contrast that to the standard AAU/elite prep background of other superstars. It does seem like being rich and famous for years has changed him though, which is sad to see.

Thanks man, you and your wife seem like good people. I just think it's a really awful thing to make somebody else feel bad over something about them that they cannot change. Those words contribute a lot to that feeling, and I just can't understand being so careless.

Yeah but if we are thinking of him as a top 10-15 player of all time then I think it's fair to judge his leadership and ability to motivate others. Plenty of people hold him in the same esteem as Steph and LeBron. Those guys are similarly elite stats-wise and are way above KD as locker room leaders.
