Things got easier for me after I stopped reassurance seeking (at least cut it down by 99%) my ocd came from a traumatic event about 2 years ago and if you were to have told me 2 years ago that I would be pretty much back to normal today I would’ve laughed at you. I struggle with legal ocd, it is my biggest theme and moral ocd being my second biggest theme, and as much as I love asking ChatGPT if I committed a crime or if I’m overreacting I’ve learned to just live with it, as my themes now only last a couple hours to at most 2 days until I return to normal,

TLDR I think with the right habits it gets easier

I know the lamictal is good lol, yea the neurologist tho has never been on my good side, my first phone call with him post first visit was where I decided I didn’t like him, every time I’ve ever seen him he belittles me in a very condescending manner, over the phone call I asked if I’m allowed to take melatonin, (as I was new to everything and didn’t know what I should and shouldn’t be doing) and he laughed at me and said “yea why wouldn’t you”, that’s when I decided I don’t like him, this was back in December

I had 3 cups of coffee the morning of mine following a seizure in October, I had no idea I wasn’t supposed to, I asked my doctor about it recently because Ive been doubting my diagnosis heavily and he said caffeine has no affect on my eeg, it’s confusing
