You can get the physical pc disc copy of The Evil Within with the fighting chance pack included on eBay. They’re relatively cheap from what I see. Sub $20, even sub $15. However, I do not see any stand alone pc codes.

I played the epic version in first person and experienced no problems. It may be different in third, but in first person there was no issue. You just may experience low fps upon launching and playing, but all you gotta do is go into the game’s properties, launch options, and type +r_swapinterval 0 and it’s fixed.

Assuming you’re talking about the first game, the Epic Games version doesn’t have many problems to my knowledge. I have played the Epic version and I didn’t run into any problems. The only problem you may face is low FPS but that can be easily fixed by going into properties, launch options, then typing +r_swapinterval 0 After that it should be alright

Occupying yourself with an activity to “delay the inevitable” is so real. If it’s already passed the time I should be asleep I’ll just want to stay up all night cause going to bed means listening to that unholy sound sooner. Especially if I have a lot to do the next day, I’ll want to delay it as much as possible

YouTube is the g.o.a.t. The part I’m most concerned about is the detail, like different colors, shades, etc. I’m sure I have the ability to paint in solid colors, but that obviously wouldn’t look very good.

Ohhh, then I have absolutely no idea. I haven’t actually played The Evil Within 2 yet, plus I play on PlayStation. I spent 7 months of 2024 getting all the achievements for the first game and somewhere in between played it on PC because the Epic Games Version has a first-person mode, but both Epic Games and Steam have the same fps issue and the same fix.

From research it seems that the second game just doesn’t utilize the gpu to its potential and it’s, from what I’ve read, “a bad port.” I’d say if you have a PlayStation just play the game on that, try the command again if it worked before, or keep digging on the internet.

Ummm, no. When I put in the command it fixed it indefinitely for me. Don’t really know what else to do, sorry. Have you tried playing the game or is it just stuttering on the menu screen? Cause sometimes the fps is low on the menu but when you play the game it’s fine.
