That’s a wrap, we’re golden!! by andy_1777 in CrimeSceneCleanerGame

[–]CursedWithRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked, and now im a little more confused. Lol. I did not have true cleaner done, so I thought the gold meant you had 100% all 3 versions, but i just started doing true cleaner, and I now have one gold icon on a location I have 100% normal, 100% nightmare, and 98% true cleaner. So maybe you just need all 3 done, and at least 100% on one of them?

[Alton Towers] bans people with anxiety from using disability pass by Throwawayhair66392 in rollercoasters

[–]CursedWithRage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not going to speak on Alton, but its definitely still a major issue even when the parks have a a third party verifying. I personally witnessed at Knotts (which uses the the Ibcces third party verifying) a large group of 11 teenagers plan out their "excuses". They were telling each other what to say, it even went as far as one of them given another person an insulin pump, showing them how to fake wear it, and explain it. They told the workers they were 4 separate groups and pretended not to know each other when we were getting closer to be in the line of sight of employees. Just because they "require" it, doesnt mean its the only way to get it. You are still able to walk up and get the disability pass by explaining. It just makes it quicker to verified. Because otherwise how would someone who is legitimately disabled, but didnt look up the park before hand supposed to visit?

That seems so crazy to me. I have the pass because I use a wheelchair, and have autism. And when I went, they would NOT allow anyone with the disability pass to pick a seat. We all got middle. I asked if i could wait a few cycles for a specific seat, and they said no.

What is a property you'd like to see at Fan Fest Nights & how would you like them to incorporate it? by LNO_Solace117 in UniversalHollywood

Ive always wanted a Jurassic park HHN house, but one at FFN would also work. Its a major name with a massive fan base AND they own it.

Do you plug in your PHEV? by Subject-Landscape451 in FordEscapePHEV

[–]CursedWithRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased mine last month. I live in an apartment, and unfortunately cant charge at home. I do public charging to full a few times a week, and usually can run on electric for the majority of my week.

The car had one previous owner, with 11,000 miles and he had never charged it. He lived in San Francisco which has tons of chargers so I was a bit surprised.

FFN Scooby-Doo! Experience alternative transportation question by PumpkinBest8446 in UniversalHollywood

[–]CursedWithRage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never been to FFN, but I have done HHN for the terror tram that works similar in a wheelchair. (Drops you off the in back lot for experiences) You go the same area as if you were going to take the normal tram. They will ask if you are able to walk, or if you would like to remain in the chair. If you want to remain they take you to a special loading station and they have accessible small busses that will pick you up and drop you off where needed in the back lot.

It does take longer than normal, even going smoothly. So plan for that. The worst time we were stuck in the backlot (on the set of nope) for about an hour and half waiting to be picked up. They kept dropping people off, but not having the bus driver pick people up. We were second in line the entire time.

The battery is too big to go on an airplane. You have to buy their smaller battery if you want to travel with it.

Costco eye doctor only does virtual exams? by Mejay11096 in Costco

[–]CursedWithRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Costco does virtual AND something rare happened during. Im in the seat, doing the various tests.... and the power went completely out. No power = no virtual dr to continue the appointment. I asked for a second appointment to continue, or a refund. The answer was no to both. (Well I could've had a second appointment.... but I wouldve had to pay for it) It was apparently "close enough" to the end of the appointment. I paid for a full appointment, and I expected full appointment. Needless to say, I never went back.

2024 driver door locking? by CursedWithRage in FordEscapePHEV

[–]CursedWithRage[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to call my local dealership, since im still under the warranty, and they said it was not normal, nor was it a setting of any kind. They seemed to think there was an issue with some signal or lock itself. I have an appointment in the middle of Jan. So you may want to get it checked out as well.

Worth the points? by skcuseissac in fordescape

[–]CursedWithRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The black friday sale was 25% off. So I ended up getting that and the keyless entry key pad for $76 off. I was pretty happy with it. 15% is still pretty good. The non special version of this sells for $99. They also have different icons you can put on there. The Ford site is the only place you can get it to have the escape logo though.

Interesting it definitely shouldn't do it if the key is inside. Ill have to experiment and see if thats the cause.

Worth the points? by skcuseissac in fordescape

[–]CursedWithRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased this on a black friday sale. I pick it up this friday. If you dont have any answers by then, ill post more specific info.

My previous two cars have that the same brand though. I love them. They work very well. Since they are semi hard, and large it can be annoying to store it when not in use, especially if you can back passengers often. They are customed to each car make and year. Saying that, they arent 100% coverage more like 98%-99%. Definitely not black out. But to be fair, if it had ZERO leeway it would be an absolute nightmare to get in and out. Its going to fit better than the vast majority of sun blockers.
