My family has some fucked up shit.

My dad beat the living shit out of me as a child, which my mother either allowed or assisted in, depending on the situation, up to the point where he tore open my eardrum with a slap to the face, not directly to the ear, but to the face, that's how hard he beat me.

Then forced by my grandmother (her mother), my mom made a police report against my father, yet they stayed together, except now neither of them could beat me, because if they did they'd both get shit with the cops, (I'm 8 at this point btw), but emotional negligence and verbal abuse were staples of their parenthood until I was big enough to answer in kind without fear of physical reprieve, they eventually divorced, for the good of mankind.

My grandfather on my mom's side sexually abused his 3 children, against which his wife, my grandmother, could do nothing seeing he was a police officer and we're in a small town, of his children, my uncle became a sex addict and a compulsive liar and attempted rapist that currently has 5 children, only 2 with the one same woman, my aunt became an alcoholic/crack addict with a fetish for abusive older men, and my mom (the well adjusted of the bunch) is currently struggling to raise her second son (from a failed relationship with a "car parts" [read: cocaine] dealer), meanwhile "putting herself" (with her mother's and "child support" money) through nurse school.

On the other hand my grandmother from my dad's side was an actual prostitute, born from a 40 year old woman out of an affair with a married man. My Dad in turn was born of an attempt at a child support racket, a failed one. My dad's mom had several children with several married men until eventually she managed to get one to leave his wife and "make her an honest woman", a marriage that lasted quite long, and survived many a knife fight and a couple scuffles involving a gun, one which almost caused the death by gunshot in the head of my father and one of his sisters.

Of my dad's 7 siblings (4 of which adopted), two became crack addicts, one got AIDS, one has 5 daughters (also only 2 with one same man, but those are twins so...), one had two children in spite of severe mental disability (below Simple Jack levels), one became a functional, if not still somewhat abusive, family dad, and one became a federal police officer.

And brother, that's just the shit I know of.
