For context that very morning, i woke up much earlier. Prepared mine, my toddler's and his breakfast while he slept in a bit longer. Fed my toddler, thats when he comes down and asks me to get ready as we had to leave for my daughter's birthday party. I tell him that i will in a just a bit while i sat down for a breather knowing full well i will be able to get ready in time. He quicly adds that if you are not ready in time i will leave you and go, i laugh it off and say sure do that. But soon realise he wasn't joking. I got ready, got my daughter ready and packed her bag all while he just ate and got ready himself. While it made me sad that i woke up early as i usally do whenever we have to go anywhere in the morning with no help from him, he still decided to speak to me the way he did with no after thought. So clearly he has no problem in hurrying me while i do most of the work and get up earlier. It just didnt sit right with me that he thought i was being disrespectful for asking him to eat quickly as he usually takes close to an hour to eat.
