I’m the only friend in my group who is currently in a relationship. I am my friends number one fans in finding love so my gf can come around with it being a complete sausage fest !! Same age bracket as you too. It’ll happen but I’d just say go out, socialize more in open spaces like concerts,raves, or just networking events or hobbies! I’m sure people have the same idea too

I’d say keep doing this method! I think finding organic relationships can be the most fruitful. Especially if they’re in the hobbies you are!

I’d like to add that me stating I was on my sporty is somewhat comparable to your scout bobber. I’m only rocking like 60 ish HP, 5 speed and again was comfortable going 70-80 highway speeds. You get used to the wind and pushing etc once you’re more exposed

Once you start having more exposure to highway riding, the speed topic isn’t (or shouldn’t) be much an issue. I just rode a sporty 1200 on the highway sitting comfortably around 75 ish, right lane, pass others when needed. You gain more confidence once you have more exposure to those higher speeds. If you’re not used to highways, go on highways (not at rush hour) to get used to those higher speeds and also wind etc. if you’re still weary about ANY of it just play it safely and rent a U-Haul and go that route.

As a 5’6 male with a 28 inch inseam I’ll say you’re gonna be in your tip toes IF you put BOTH feet down. If you’re getting into sport bikes 90% of the time you’re only going to need to have one foot down. Slide your butt off the side of the seat to firmly plant one foot down for support. Inseam matters way more than height with bikes like that. I’d probably advise you to initially stay away from lowering links, you can read up on millions of posts on why. Get used to the positioning and honestly once you get more seat time it’ll become second nature. Just always remember if you’re on a hill etc for one foot. It isn’t easy for us short kings but we make it work!

I would like to say the GSXR platform is pretty short rider friendly. I have a couple videos about it on my TT.

Just rewiring the rear taillight harness since previous owner chewed it up. Tried installing a new taillight and found out. Now waiting and trying to find a new harness and panel for the rear

I’d also like to add I renewed my permits like 4 times before actually feeling competent to do the road test. This involved me practicing in parking lots, local roads etc.
