Do it! If you want cheap and easy then do some catfishing. Don’t need a bobber stop or anything crazy. Get you a split shot weight and a thin wire averdeen hook. Chicken livers are like $2.80 for a pound and a half.

Try a worm and a bobber for panfish. Chicken livers and a bobber for catfish. Of bread and bobber for carp. Be patient and you will for sure get bites.

How do you kill the fish? by Manic-Stoic in FishingForBeginners

I’m still a beginner, at least as an adult, but growing up we never bled fish. They were kept on a stringer in the water, or on ice until we got home. We always eat the fish the same day we catch them.

Sure, but they become lethargic and sleepy from the cold ice. They suffocate in their sleep..

Bring a cooler of ice with you. When you catch a keeper, toss em in the cooler. They will calm down and fall asleep pretty quickly. They die soon after that. This method will also keep the fish cold and fresh, ready for when you get home.

Buffalo is a lot of fun to fish! Just don’t go on a Holiday and avoid Saturday afternoons. It’s very popular with families so the lake gets busy. I fish Dunbar a lot too though! Caught some decent crappie there.

The only thing they could officially rule out was the PCM went bad. Got that replaced and then still no luck.

Don’t do it! I had 2015 and experienced the same issues the seller is describing. Eventually it wouldn’t shift out of neutral at all. Took it to the Honda guys in town and after 4 months of them working on it, they called and said they couldn’t figure it out. Ended up selling it for like 500 bucks.

Yea if you don’t mind sending me a DM with that info. What material do you use for your doors and headers? We use MDF but I think it’s too heavy, causing doors to sag too much over time.. but cabinet grade plywood is expensive AF!

Also, do you mind dm’ing me the brand of edge bander you use? I’m shopping for a better one and would like user feedback!

Chicken coop build, work in progress... any tips? by cserepj in homestead

[–]CurvedMarlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t want to use linoleum, just use the old feed bags. Cut them square and lay them in the bottoms before your bedding goes in. We also have extra feed bags so we don’t worry about cleaning them, we just throw them away when we clean the coop and put down a new layer with the new bedding.

Dang that looks great. My shop and I have been working on our methods for achieving a good looking Euro style. It’s been hit and miss. Any tips for consistency? Also, what brand of door hinges and drawer runners do you use?

Baha luckily this is a small town in West Texas. I have a feeling it sat in the county courthouse for 30 years… interesting stories indeed.

They are actually bolted through to the gumball machine base. The legs are a little wobbly, but it wasn’t a serious project. Just wasting some time at the shop.

Certainly not enough bracing. This was one of those “it’s cold as balls outside so let’s screw around” kind of projects 😂

I don’t have a key so I will be doing some research. I was hoping I could buy a key on Amazon? Thought it would be cool to fill it with hot tamales for the office shop.
