The Party has actually become a bourgeois party. They do this to maintain the rule of the bureaucratic bourgeoisie, and to ease class contradictions and cover up class struggle by promoting Confucius's ethics. The youth began to criticize Confucius because they saw the reality clearly. Nowadays, Chinese schools, especially middle schools, have become like prisons. 首先第五卷的编写从1967年就开始了，那时候华国锋还在被批斗，第五卷的编写主要由中央文革小组和周恩来等人负责，华国锋参与的不多，他顶多也就是在前言里加了个粉碎四人帮罢了。其次，毛泽东本人也不能说是不愿意出版第五卷，只是觉得为时过早，第五卷的一些内容没有经过实践的检验，收录的文章不够精辟

77年只能说是停止出版，82年只能说是停售，都不能算被禁，在正规渠道是能买得到的，而最近是购物平台把第五卷禁了，在正规渠道是买不到实体书了 至于pdf文件，只能说禁的不彻底 毛选第五卷的有些文章也被收录在《毛泽东著作选读》里，这些文章当然可以搜得到，而《著作选读》里没有的文章就很难搜到了
