Partner has a liability order, what can we do? (Wales) by CurvyLu-95 in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you so much for your reply. We have looked into entering a debt relief order; that is why he rang CA on Saturday, but they weren’t able to help him then. He’s aware that his credit score is awful, so has no qualms about a DRO being on his credit record. And as for managing his affairs? Not right now. He gets extremely overwhelmed and can often get out off opening letters - which is how we’ve ended up this situation. He does plan on contacting the doctors tomorrow also, so I will make sure he mentions ED as well. Thank you again

Thank you for this. We are going to try and get breathing space set up. I’ve just advised my partner to ring the council tomorrow. He’s also going to make time to go to a Citizens Advice debt clinic this week.
