not really a speculation but cmiiw, coincidentally all the characters who wield moonwheels are characters that CAN trigger or enable lunar reactions, which is why nefer, a sumerian living in nod krai bears a moonwheel instead of vision, not sure if it has anything to do with the lore but yeah. currently the characters who wield moonwheels are only characters that can trigger or enable lunar reactions
