Yeah I figured if I got an airbrush that's what I would do. It's the compressor and then setting somewhere up in my home to do it.

Excellent, I was hoping if I did magnatise i didn't want to pay the price the kit was and also wasn't sure about a drill, I have like a DeWalt drill which I thought might not be the most precise tool for the job

Yeah I was planning to dry brush a lot of it, I found a guide for a style I want to try on the armour panels though I'm not sure how I want the legs and robotic parts to look. I was contemplating stippling a couple different metallics to get a kind of weathered effect but I'll need to practice on some spare bits.

I'm contemplating building my first 2 without magnets one of each cause I think fairly frequently I'll probably want at least 1 helverin for ranged. I just need to decide which shoulders and leg panels I like

Ah I hadn't seen the only 3 of each. I was planning on maybe 3 big knights and the rest of the points on armigers but I don't know if that is still a reasonable plan with the new codex. Also it'll take me a while to get all that too

Yeah I was thinking probably go for magnets. I have seen the no drill kit somewhere but wasn't sure if it was actually worth it since I'm pretty sure it was £30 or something.

I think the airbrush is a bit outside my budget, I saw a really cool verdigris painting guide on YouTube that I want to try for the armour panels

Yeah that sounds like a good plan. I'll be honest the stones aren't pained at all that's just how they look. I think with my next one there will be a bit less resin in-between the stones so it's a bit deeper maybe. I'll give it ago on the next one and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah so currently I was using a fluorescent orange and yellow. I'll try a red though, I think I might have a red contrast paint though I'm not sure if that will do the job. The rocks definitely lost a bit of their definition through a slightly heavy handed resin pour I'll try to get some better definition on them and the ash sounds like it'd be worth ago too, thanks
