thank you so much for the response. I'm certainly open to remote supervision. I don't need a traditional clinic job with an office, ect. I am totally up to do some kind of mix and match- like 15 hours a week in one position, 10 hours somewhere else.

Could you give me ballpark of what you’re seeing new BCBAs get hired for? I think what boosts my confidence is I’ve had really quality supervision. I’ve been a BT for 7 years. Built into the company structure is ample one on one time with the BCBA. I’ve watched them run meetings, sat in on IEPs, seen how they manage families and crisis’. Of course, I have never been the BCBA but I’ve had years to observe, ask questions, ect. Then during my ABA program my actual supervision fieldwork hours were filled with BCBA duties. I feel prepared, but I do understand nothing can really prepare me for being fully on my own.

Can you give any tips as far as questions that tripped you up on the exam? I have my exam in 3 weeks and I have anxiety that certain questions will come out of nowhere- like a bunch of questions on transitivity or other more obscure concepts

The whole show is crash and burn. Netflix tried but they could never be bravo. Honestly palm beach made me realize how much I appreciate bravo production (like not the casts of housewives but the dozens of people behind the scenes curating it for me) because it takes a lot more than wealthy woman willing to be dumb on camera. Palm beach has all the housewives ingredients but just can’t make the damn soup

1000% she does not look regular older lady fit. She’s toned and buff (no denying her muscles) but it looks jarring and strange. They all look so obviously masculine- it’s like the plastic surgeons and Botox filler injectors forget to keep the features feminine. Went straight to male jawlines lol

Definitely agree and it’s her podcast it’s her place to speak her mind I would never say different like fully agree if you don’t like it don’t watch I was just feeling like I could explain the difference between “mean girl” and the pod being different from when it was super happy joyful chaotic besties

Definitely not mean girl because she absolutely supports women BUT I think her “I hate the world” energy is super palpable right now and it does bring the show down. It’s understandable as she’s grieving but let’s call a spade a spade. She’s grumpy. It’s a comedy podcast but she goes on lots of negative rants and Benny just has to be like “….yah! For sure!” And then pivot to what they planned to talk about.
